When Is Soup A Meal?

Yesterday, we had Stella for the day while Georgie substituted as a teacher at the older two grans’ school.

Now, you know that we recently have had the other two grans over separately for an overnight with Nona – the Dude driving them here and there – and Stella was due for her overnight.

The overnights usually mean sitting around watching Netflix/Amazon kids TV that makes me want to hang myself, then out for a meal, and then a movie in a theatre.

Yesterday, we sat around watching Netflix/Amazon kids TV that makes me want to hang myself, then we went out for a meal at the same place that we took the others and then went to a movie. BTW, Charlie the Wonder Dog is fantastic.

If you have read The Claire Saga you may see comparable subjects being covered.

As far as I was concerned, yesterday counted as Stella’s overnight, and I told her that many times. She refused to accept that reality and Lisa kept siding with her.

It was like trying to complete a dinner commitment with Kenny Banion.

I put as much Dude work into the day as with the other two. Maybe more. I had to follow her around outside and say silly things to her. That counts.

I even let her annoy Claire and Honey.

I mean, how does that not cover all of the basis?

I mean, I was exhausted.

Well, it seems she is coming back very soon and I’m going to draft a document using all of the legalese necessary to belt and suspender her into conceding that it will count as her overnight with Nona!

Well, today I have things to do around here, like scoop up all of the mule shit that Stella told Nona was out back.

It’s going to be a hump day for sure, so I better get to it.

You fine, five readers get your skates on and attack the hump. Wave at Friday from the peak.

And no matter what else we get up to, let’s make today a great one.
