Pausing The Blog – Creative Hiatus

I’ve given this a lot of thought over the past few weeks and believe I need to stay focused on just one line of creativity while I turn to writing Free Radical.

So, for the interim, after today, I will not be posting my daily blog.

Of course, should anything major occur here at Casa Claire during what I’m guessing will be the final two months of the year – the time period during which I’m determined to finish the project – I will make the occasional exception. So, for example, if 3I Atlas lands on my back property, I’ll be sure to leave a note behind.

In the meantime, I release my fine, five readers from their wonderfully loyal and rewarding support of my blog – you will never know just how much I appreciate every single response that lets me know you five are out there – and I wish you much joy and happiness over the upcoming holidays, and all of the love you deserve.

If you get really bored, you can always key word search the over a thousand blogs that are in my library. According to Claire’s Theorem, there are only five possible readers of the blog at any given moment, so no one has read them all.

Blog – The Wise Novelist

I hope you all come back when the time comes.

Wish me luck.

Enjoy Halloween.

And no matter what else we get up to, let us make today a great one.

  1. Tom,
Good luck with the new writing project. I for one will definately miss your blog, but look forward to the new book!

  2. I too will miss your daily blogs but I’m so excited that you will be focusing on “Free Radical” that I find I’m thrilled with your decision. You know that I am an avid and loyal reader of your blogs and my morning coffee will now be lacking that morning dose of wit that you share each day with your daily blogs about your life’s (family’s & friends’) experiences and your perspective of those experiences but the loss is more than worth it knowing you are focusing on your new project. Good luck and know that your 5 readers are extremely happy, anxious and excited about your next book.

  3. Did you actually say you’re hoping to start and finish in 2 month’s time??? You really don’t sleep at all, do you?

  4. Tom,
Your blog will be missed. The good news is I can always come back here to reread them. It’s exciting that you’re creativity is going to be focused on a new book. I wish you lots of good JuJu on this writing journey. My Italian grandmother used to say “in bocca al lupo” (good luck). I have a sneaky suspicion that that Seelie Court and the Fae Folk will be guiding you every step of the way.
    Fondly,
    Deb
