My home state never ceases to amaze me. Just learned it is home to what may be the world’s largest fossilized location where Dinosaurs gathered to perform mating dances. Called Leks.
Yes, you heard me right. Male Dinosaurs would repeatedly gather in this one particular spot in Colorado and then engage in a group dance off performing variations of Michael Jackson’s Moon Walk to attract the attention of also gathering females.

It’s all right here in the Smithsonian Magazine.
It just goes to show you that even the most unsuspecting of creatures leave their mark on the world.
Like the creatures here at Casa Claire.

Will the Coloradan archeologists of the future dust these prints off and formulate their own hypotheses that Casa Claire was a location where Mules and Dogs gathered to dance repeated interspecies jigs to some natural wind chime shanty?
It is a reason to remember that we all leave tokens of our brief passages behind us. Some intentional, others not. So we must always put our best foot forward as we traverse across this particular level of energy plane.
One more reason that it is important that Claire and Honey keep their hooves in top condition. Which is why they have their Mani-Pedis this morning. Don’t want some future dweeby scientist shit talking C&H’s prints.
Then I have to figure out how I’m going to move the grans’ pool from its present spot to one a bit more level. So that Scarlett may better enjoy it with her friends during an upcoming birthday party early next month. [Of course this is Lisa’s idea.] It’s definitely going to be an Aleve day for sure.
I hope that my fine, five readers have more pleasant events planned for their Saturday.
But, no matter what may be on our respective to do list, let’s make today a great one.

Move the pool? That’s an interesting challenge. I’ll be looking on FB for updates on that particular chore. Might just be me but it sounds overwhelming. Good luck!
“Future dweeby scientist….” – you make me laugh!! 🙂
