The Wonder Of Seeing Things

I pity those people who do not suffer from some form of pareidolia –

and/or apophenia – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apophenia.

I mean, come on, who doesn’t enjoy a touch of madness.

Seriously, how boring it must be to go through life missing out on spotting something wonderful.

Seeing patterns in the clouds, or shapes in natural formations, or relationships in numbers.

Making random connections.

Spotting synchronicity.

For example, when I gazed down the road yesterday morning at The Three Witches (Maiden, Mother, Crone) above, I spotted something on “Mother” I had never seen before.

A waving kitty.

Now, it’s true, throughout my long life, my mind has been preoccupied with, er, kitties, but I have never in my seven years in NoCo, spotted one waving at me from the top of Longs Peak – https://www.summitpost.org/longs-peak/150310

But maybe this explains how my mind can create the sci-fi/fantasy world that appears in The Claire Saga.

Then again, maybe I didn’t create it at all.

Well, that’s enough of using a mountain peak to get a peek behind the curtain.

And, for the record, I always keep my promises.

Today is Friday, and I can promise my fine, five readers that it will be magical – if you know how to look for it – and make the connections.

So, finish up the last of that cuppa and go out there and amaze your powers that be with the wonderful project you have completed this week. Then sneak out the side door and embrace the weekend.

Lots to do for those Celts looking forward to Samhain next week – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samhain

Make sure you festive dabblers, who just enjoy Halloween for the dress up, pumpkins and candy, thank your closest Celt. Especially if you attend any costume parties this weekend.

And on top of it all, tonight the Yanks begin their final leg towards their next World Series Ring.

So, let’s hope our Bronx magic holds.

Before that happens, I have kitties to cuddle (read into that anything you like ;)) and rounds to make.

Then a motion to work on.

But no matter what is on our respective or collective plates, let us make sure to make today a great one.
