Been binging a British series on Netflix that was recommended by my daughter. Just finished Season 3.

I have always loved the way the British present/perform comedy. SE is no exception. The characters are always fully developed and fun. The dialogue is smart and the writing blends just enough darkness into the storyline to make the lighter moments shine brightly.
The plotlines sometime skirt the edge of social activism to propel or develop a character but not in a preachy way. And the acting ranges from solid to superb.
The euphoric highs and awkward lows of the various teenagers’ paths to sexual discovery, and the often heart wrenching passion and pain, if memory serves me, rang very true and are honestly portrayed. Glory days indeed.
Given that this was filmed between 2019 and 2023, you will spot a lot of future breakout stars among the cast.
Definitely worth the binge.
