Not Averse To Verse

Bandit shook me awake this morning with this decastich looping through my head:

The dust kicked up in Switzerland, by the City of Lucerne.

It’s nearby quantum magic is causing God concern.

A Large Hadron Collider hurtles atoms underground

With death defying physics, they circle round and round.

And finally colliding, at speeds we cannot measure,

The future, past and present all offer up their treasure.

When God surrendered his particle, from the field of Dr. Higgs.

Partakers of this tree of knowledge rejected wearing figs.

They’ve now proudly opened up the portals between all dimensions.

With Lucifer’s Light, storm Heavenly Gates, as part of their Ascension.”

Would love to know what triggered this.

Not going to make Pete Sheridan’s religiously legal retainer of posthumously getting my name back on his Pearly Name Sake’s VIP List any easier. Sorry Petey.

Have I mentioned, I’m not a poet. No Milton here, though my eyes have been acting up. Just another subconscious literary channel.

But I had to get it down, it kept circling my consciousness – with the same Narrator’s voice from the TWA video – like a children’s rhyme, while Bandit pushed me out of bed.

If anyone actually recognizes this poem from somewhere else, please let me know, because, if I have to baptize it, I’m calling it “The Devil of Lucerne.” Again, sorry Petey.

Oh, and by the way, the Opening Painting – Milton Dictating To His Daughter – which I added just now after writing this blog, was painted in 1794 – by “Henry Fuseli (Swiss, active in England, 1741–1825)”

Of course, it also turns out that today is the 9-9-9 Portal, so that may have something to do with it.

Well, you fine, five readers, finish your cuppa and get out there.

I’m going to spend some time wondering where this ditty came from.

But no matter what we get up to, let us make today a great one.

  1. One would think that our Saint Archanfel Michael might be (again) an effective deterrent to any Luciferian pretensions. Just sayin’
