New Barn Is Complete

Yesterday, I laid and taped the rubber matting, built the bed frame (out of very heavy beams) and filled it with 10 bags of wood shavings.

It took most of the day, including moving the wall rotating fan from the old barn, but I think it ended up just as I imagined.

Blue came by to watch, coming in the side door.

And finally Claire and Honey stopped in to check it out.

So, the major summer project to convert Geppetto’s Studio into the New Barn is complete – except for hanging the heaters, which I will do today.

But I’m knackered.

Anyway, Sunday is upon us so you fine, five readers enjoy the day.

Put your feet up, read a book. Amazon Prime still has the Kindle version of TWA for free for Prime Members.

I’ve got to take Lisa to work, then shopping, and then my rounds and chores, but first I need to cuddle the kitties.

No matter what else we do, let’s make today a great one.

  1. Wow! Having seen that barn PRE- renovation, I can’t believe the transformation! That was a lot of hard work and some know-how. Looks fabulous!πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»
Btw, if I’m ever homeless, can I crash in the barn with Claire & Honey!?πŸ˜„

  2. This barn is certainly the embodiment of lap of luxury for the mules! I would love to hang out in that chair and just get some happy horsey time. I can smell the sawdust and oat-breath from here–delicious!!
