No matter what your belief system, faith or religious practices, may your day be filled with peace, love and joy.
You do not have to believe in the humble birth and existence of the Christ over two centuries ago to appreciate these sentiments.
Today can still be a day where you reaffirm your own personal desire to be a better human. To love your fellow humans and all of the other sentient creatures that share this earth. To lend a hand to help those in need when you can. The littlest gesture can go very far. To follow a Golden Rule of doing unto others as you would have them do unto you or yours.
If you find yourself among family and friends this morning, count your blessings and let them know how much you appreciate their existence in your life.
If you know someone who may not be as fortunate, reach out by whatever medium makes it easiest for you and let them know you are thinking about them. A visit, a call, a text. Again, the tiniest of gestures.
If you see a stranger that is in need, offer them whatever you can to help them, even if it’s only a silent prayer.
And whatever big or small gestures we make today, let us all try to make today a great one.
