This morning I attempted to access my website so I could write my blog and three times I was prevented from that access by my wonderful PC Matic computer security system with a warning that someone had accessed my website and was trying to steal my personal information.
Since I don’t have the technical knowledge or skill to deal with such things, I reached out to my techie – Gaby – who originally helped me set up my website and has managed to keep it running smoothly for five years.
She’s the one who adds my books and audio and videos to the website, so if you haven’t checked any of her wonderful work out just click on the “Home,” “Books,” or “About” buttons above and allow yourself to be amazed. You’ll also learn more about what makes me tick.
Anyway, there is a time lapse because I believe she’s in England (although I could be wrong) so I was unable to blog this morning. But once Gaby gave me the all-clear I just wanted to hop on here quickly and post something so that I didn’t lose the one or two of the five readers I may have managed to bring back since I restarted the daily blogs.
Thank you, Gaby Maurino. You have again been a virtual and literal life saver, time and time again.
Speaking of emails, I received one from my local Berthoud Community Library inviting me to be a guest speaker about my latest two novels coming out next year.

Thank you, Thora Siemsen for the invite. You rock.
So, if you happen to be in the NoCo area on January 23rd at 2 p.m., please stop in and catch my act. I’ve been told that I can be amusing, so at least you are guaranteed not to be bored.
For you fine, five readers, if you need a techie, look Gaby up, she’s wonderful and very reasonable rates. If you want to see what a Community Library should look like, stop by the one in Berthoud.
I hope you all are well into your Thursday wrapping up those weekly projects so that you can free yourself for an early weekend launch on your magical Friday.
And no matter what else you are getting up to, let’s make today a great one.
