As you all know by now, I read my reviews. I love my reviewers, especially the ones who make the time to write a review for each book. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll take any review, as many as I can get, from each and every reader who makes the time to read my stories. I appreciate it if you just take the time to click on the stars (the more, the merrier). Your reviewing response is the life blood of an author. I know how precious everyone’s time is today, and to go back on Amazon and find my book’s page and then scroll down and post something is a pain in the ass. I get it.
So those, like Carolyn Whitehead, who go the extra mile and post for each book, hold a special place in my heart. She is like Charlotte the spider, posting great little headlines for her reviews that keeps this old author from being turned into literary sausage.
Reviews also tell me a little bit about the reader. They let me know what demographics and personalities are responding to the storyline. You see, once the book is published, there is nothing more I can do to sway public opinion. The writing, story and characters are what they are. I must rely on the kindness of strangers.
So, I am particularly thankful and appreciative of those readers, like Carolyn, who have followed Claire’s storyline through the books in order, and keep coming away from the experience satisfied. Reading them in order gives context to the experience.

The first 20 or pages are like any other book but once you get past that….prepare to be delighted!! I was sad to reach the end of the book. Thank you Tom McCaffrey for writing this delightful book. I hope you consider making it a series!

Loved this book. It was just as good as the first one (The Wise Ass)! Tom McCaffrey writes with a beautiful heart, a sense of humor and an incredible imagination. He makes you wish that you were part of the “Misfit Club”. I love each and every one of the characters and animals. I was sad when I finished this delightful book but happy that I am now going to read Kissing my Ass Goodbye.

I absolutely loved the Claire Trilogy! I wish it could go on forever! I will pass these 3 books on, like I do the best of the books that I read. I’m sure the people that read them will do so with the same joy that I, myself gleaned from these books. MacCaffrey once again brought his heart to the table! Thank you, I loved these books.

Love this book! I loved the Claire trilogy and this book is wonderful. I highly recommend it!
And these types of positive reviews are the reason I, as a writer, feel confident going back to the key board and writing the next installment. I am truly blessed by this level of feedback and encouragement.

Well, now I need to get back to reality.
A kitty needs cuddling, my rounds need doing and my very stubborn belly needs punishing by the dreadmill.

I am reading a book I read about 20 years ago. She’s Come Undone by Wally Lamb. I really liked it the first time. Now I have more life experience and see some victim mentality in Delores but then, her life has been pure hell. I have read all of your books 2 times now and each time they get better. Get busy on the next one! So many of us are waiting.
