Well, congratulations Angels, you bested, but never swept, both of NY’s baseball teams. Claire sends her regards. Feel free to kiss it.
LA deserves the title, this year. Enjoy. You’ve earned it.
We gave it our best but your baseball magic was just too strong. Time for a congratulatory jig.
Hopefully the Yanks have learned their lesson.
See you next October, and hopefully, if Pete Flanagan has his way as the Celestial GM for the Amazins, the Mets will take you out before the Yanks need to (but will). And let’s face it, the Bombers are always just one contract away from putting Shohei Ohtani in pinstripes. Maybe they’ll grab Freeman while they are waiting.
Despite the loss, which, luckily, I avoided watching, the world has not ended, as the energy, magic and stars all remain aligned here at Casa Claire.
New Moon, fresh start. I’m ready.
Now to more important things. Samhain.
The Old Celtic Ways call to me,
and I have my candles and incense burning for the important things in my life,
especially for my Ancestors across today’s gossamer veil,
as the magical new year approaches.
And to top it all off, it is a New Moon in Scorpio. Great mojo for this Mick.
And tommorrow is the 11/1 Portal – https://www.bustle.com/life/november-1-2024-new-moon-spiritual-meaning
As a hot-blooded Scorpio, I draw even more enjoyment from this time of year.

I have to say that last article nailed it. Luckily I married Capricorn. Who else could put up with me?!
So, I will spend my time this Halloween in contemplation of more things “than are dreamt of in your philosophy”. I have some questions that need answering and directions to take. Maybe I’ll join Linus in the pumpkin patch. Could be his year.
But hopefully I will get to hand out some candy to some imaginatively inspired and attired trick-or-treaters. Lot’s of magic in the excitement of young minds. Controlled fear builds character.
You fine, five readers go dabble in the mystical for this one particular day each year, when even the adults get a pass to Neverland. Turn some tricks. Share some treats. You know you want to.
I’m going to go start my day cuddling some feral familiars. Then my rounds.
But whatever else we get up to, let’s have some fun, and make today a great one.

“Turn some tricks?” Really, Thomas? You have been out of the Bronx too long… That is the Hunts Point Street Anthem!

And I’m thrilled you not only understood, but drew that understanding from the proper sources.
