It never gets old. Not me, I do get old. But the feeling I get when I see another one of my novels out there on the Inter-Web never gets old. I’m a kid at Christmas!
Yesterday evening, in a wonderfully magical Friday event, one of the amazing supporting members of my publisher’s crew, Louisa de Paula, sent me an email confirming that FR was now up for pre-sale on the BRW website:

You see, the major sites take their piece first from the sale price, then funnel the rest to BRW, who gets its piece, leaving me with whatever is left. Two-bites from the apple before I get the core. Plus, early pre-sale orders demonstrate to the publisher that they haven’t backed the wrong mule (yes, Claire makes an uncredited appearance in FR). It also suggests that the more I encourage those that I directly interact with to help me spread the word, the more support I will receive from you, my fine, five readers, and all of those you may come into contact with.

And now that I have achieved pensioner status, the ROI to my writing has grown a little more important.
Plus, if FR is a huge success, it will prime the potential success of Spark of Faith – Spark of Faith – The Wise Novelist – which drops in May 2027.
Interestingly, FR and SOF are completely different genres. And both are quite different genres from The Claire Saga. However, all of my novels are character driven. I want you readers to love and root for all of my characters.
FR is a legal drama – Grisham meets Crighton – that is set on the gritty streets, subways, skyscrapers and courthouses of Gotham.
SOF is a medical-spiritual drama – House meets Miracles from Heaven – set in the wilds of rural NoCo.
The Claire Saga is a five novel magical mystical series – Goodfellas meets Wizard of Oz, meets Mr. Ed, meets Mork & Mindy, meets The Craft, meets Guardians of the Galaxy. It is set in NYC, NoCo and Proxima b. And it all works seamlessly.
So, if you have read TCS, and you enjoy my writing and storytelling, you will love FR. So, go ahead and place that pre-sale order for FR with BRW, while I get these finishing touches done on SOF.
If you haven’t yet read TCS, I recommend you take the plunge. You won’t be sorry. It’s an unexpected story well told with the blackest of humor.
In fact, after you order FR, find a comfy chair with a nearby glass of wine and reread TCS from start to finish, seriatim. While you are doing that, look for the clues that will help you spot Claire’s uncredited appearance in FR. Then when FR arrives in your mailbox in January, you can read it carefully to see if you can spot something southern that later makes a return appearance in SOF. Claire also works her name into novel number seven. She insisted upon it. My literary universe, like my energetic one, is rife with connections.
