Took a little longer on that Holiday Hiatus than I intended.
The truth is that I was getting the sense that people had stopped reading my blogs, and I didn’t want to post if there wasn’t an audience.
But I had to go back to check on a couple of past blogs this morning, and when I opened the site I saw I had accumulated 4,000 comments that were entirely spam – drugs, sex, betting – mostly Russian and some written in Cyrillic. So maybe my base has expanded.
So after deleting them 20 at a time, cramping my mouse hand, I thought, let me post this short blog and see if anyone real is still out there.

I chuckled at Anne Rifenburg’s comment about how topics appear based on your interests. My wife will talk on the phone with our daughter and she soon will receive pop-up ads for the very products they discussed.
Am I to blame for you slowing down on the number of blog posts? For one reason or another, I couldn’t keep up with the daily posts but I certainly appreciated the ones that I could tackle. Please don’t stop.
