Calling In A Sick Day

Chills, aches and sweats are bad enough, but when you suffer coughing fits that actually rack your chest and give you a headache, you need to take a day. Did feed the mules but now must return to the couch. Tomorrow, and tomorrow and tomorrow. . . .

  1. I’m so sorry…. That’s how I remember it to be. I’m happy you actually are taking a sick day and getting as much rest as possible. I know you can’t take a day off from being the care giver to your fur-family but don’t fight your needed rest. Sleep as much as you can, drink lots of water and treat the damn symptoms as many as there are. Hopefully this won’t last too long. Feel better Tommy! 🙏

  2. Follow Eileen Cotto advise to the last letter…. listening to your body is not a weakness.
hydrate and rest … repeat after me Tommy HYDRATE AND REST.
Hope you both feel better sooner than later.

  3. YES! All of the above !! Listen to your body and REST!!! A little fresh air for the lungs. Hope you feel better soon.

  4. So sorry you are not feeling well. Try to get plenty of rest, fluids and vitamin C. I hope this does not last long and that you are able to enjoy a very Happy Thanksgiving. 🩷

  5. Freeze something like Gatorade in ice cube trays. suck on them throughout the day, is will give you fluids, plus eletrolytes plus a little glucose for energy. Making them as ice helps to keep the fever down also.
