Last night was the first of the three day full moon the Algonquin people called the “Beaver Moon,” as it is a time when the beavers complete their final preparations for winter.
The OFC has a different interpretation of that moniker, but I dare not print it.
I think I’m in synch with the beavers, as all (most?) of my winter preparations are complete (although I do need to get another hay order in). Just need to survive the next three months.
This 20 degree morning found all was right with Casa Claire with the Hostess standing ever vigilant in the barn doorway and Honey tucked safely behind her reclining under the heaters in the stall area.
The moon itself had lit up the area like a spotlight.
And I have my intention candle working its magic.
So I am all ready for the wonders and magic for the next month – Yule Season.
Christmas awaits.
But first we need to get past this Monday.
So have that third cuppa and ease yourself back from the Thanksgiving Weekend. If you planned it right, you took today off to recover from traveling. If not, it should still be relatively quiet and those in the office around you will be engaged in Cyber Monday. So keep your head down and head back home as soon as you can.
I have to go cuddle the kitties.
And let us all do our best to make today a great one.
