A Day In Moments . . . .

I see life in moments. Snapshots that anchor my world in some visual road map.

For example, the grans were busy being kids around Casa Claire and beyond, so I only spent a moment in the late afternoon playing lifeguard. Those long legs belong to Scarlett. Photo reminds me of a joke I once heard about hell.

Anyway, I was busy with legal work, but did have a chance to snap a few photos of my fur and feather friends and family at different points throughout the day.

Claire and Honey in tithe collection mode at the backdoor.

Mr. Bunny scavenging some of the mules leftover fruit and veggies from behind the back deck.

A pair of crows kibitzing on the roadway.

Smokey hanging in the Jack The Spruce Grotto by her bombshelter.

But I did get to go into town to the Berthoud Public Library where I dropped off a whole bag full of books that my grans had been holding hostage.

I used the opportunity to drop off my executed contract to appear at the Berthoud Literary Festival, thank you Thora Siemsen, making it official. So, if anyone in the NoCo area wants to come and hear me read from (and bullshit about the backstory behind) the novels, show up in Berthoud on Saturday afternoon, September 21. I’ll be happy to answer any questions that won’t get me sued or worse. I’ll also sign whatever books or body parts are placed before me, take selfies, give hugs. As soon as the marketing materials are available, I’ll post them here and on my FB page. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100091444194790

There will also be a number of much better writers appearing at the festival, so make a weekend out of it.

Then I’m off for a week in Da Bronx, for a couple of more readings.

Well the sun is chasing away the night, so I better get moving.

Kitties to cuddle and rounds to make.

Then an opposition brief that needs to be rudely responded to.

But you fine, five readers get your last cuppa down the hatch, slip on those skates and attack the hump.

Wave to Friday at the peak.

We must also get some pay the bills work done before COB Thursday, so we can plan the weekend appropriately.

And no matter what else we get up to today, let us make it a great one.
