Yesterday started out as any Sunday, with chores, followed by dogs and coffee.
But, it turned out to have a weird curveball to it.
I had just spoken with Peter “Buck” Sheridan on the phone on my way to Walmart’s to do some shopping.
We spent the entire drive along 287 discussing the Pope’s recent canonization of the 15 year old Carlo Acutis. Pete as one of the most devoted Catholics I know. Me as a lapsed church member turned devout spiritualist.
Fascinating. I’m happy for Mother Church. This is a well deserved spiritual, social and psychological boost to its devotees.
The shopping itself was far more uneventful.
But on my way home I started noticing something odd with my eyesight.
Something just wasn’t right.
I could see clearly but there was a slight focusing delay when I shifted my eyes quickly from left to right, or far to close.
It didn’t impact my driving, or anything else for that matter. But afterwards, as I ran my own visual tests, I figured it out that my less dominant eye (my right) is taking an extra nanosecond to link up and match my dominant eye. As I sit here typing it doesn’t impact my ability to read or write, which was the most important thing.
If I close and look through one eye, or the other, both views are perfect no matter where I look or how quickly I change my focus.
I am ready to just adapt to the change but Lisa is insisting we go see the Optometrist that gave her those bionic eyes.
Hopefully, she’ll forget about it.
Hopefully, it’s a self correcting issue.
But I digress.
Yesterday evening, Lisa and I drove over to Georgie and Luke’s to say goodbye to the Aussie/British Clan contingent, Nigel and Sara Moss,

and Sara’s sister Liz,

who completed their five week odyssey around Colorado with the grans.

You will note Scarlett’s brightly colored and sparkled cast from when she recently broke her Index Finger Metacarpal Tubercle. You should see the other guy. It goes well with her Doc Martins. She is quickly growing into her elven height, while her sisters appear trapped by our Hobbit genetic bloodline.

Well, we all bring our own magic to the family genetic recipe.
Vaya con Dios to our Moss family. Hopefully see you again soon. Your Celtic Clan loves you.
I did get in some excellent tree grounding under the Corn Moon this morning.

And while I didn’t witness any blood on the moon, the surrounding clouds appear to have some color tint.

Well, another Happy Monday is upon us.
My fine, five readers; let us not fret. This too shall pass.
Get that last cuppa in you and launch into whatever business pays your bills. The busier energy you apply to your tasks, the faster the hours will fly.
And then it will be Tuesday, with Friday visible on the horizon.
So, no matter what this day has in store for us, let us make it a great one.
