Since my earliest incarnations, I’ve always been a fan of the number 69. So many possibilities.
As an Angel number, it represents balance, love and spiritual growth.
It also means that your angels are in close proximity and that the worst times are in your rear view mirror.
“The number 6 is linked to our home life, household activities, responsibility, family, committed relationships, love, and gratitude. The number 9 is about communication, our soul mission, karmic reasons for choices, lightwork, and our divine soul. Together, they communicate an understanding that our relationships and our everyday life play a major role when it comes to our spiritual progress.”

And I haven’t even mentioned the fun stuff. https://www.menshealth.com/sex-women/a29471974/69-sex-positions/
So, when I woke this morning in the moments of my first day of my brand new 69th year (just having concluded my 68th spin around the sun at midnight and birthdays measure the completion of years) I was thrilled to celebrate it with a stunning first look at the Beaver Full Moon (and yes, I do intend for your individual and collective minds to continue to play with this double entendre).

And it’s a Supermoon to boot!
When I went out this morning, Claire and Honey were waiting in the trees above the Giant’s Causeway to surprise me with a telepathic rendition of Happy Birthday.
And, after I led them down to the new barn for some breakfast, while I was returning to the house from the back field, I looked up and spotted this orb dancing around me. A message from the other side of the veil that the Ancestors were thinking about me.
And before returning inside, I made sure to check on the latest batch of full moon water.
Then Smokey and I sat down in the office to see what the internet would bring me.
However, before I could touch the keyboards, my phone pinged, and I was able to engage in some witty repartee with my youngest, who has never really gotten over the limitations of being half human, but has inherited my dark sense of humor.
This was quickly followed by the more traditional well wishes of others in my family tree. Gratefully acknowledged and accepted.
As a bonus, there was a transitional early morning/late night birthday wish from the incorrigible Eileen Cotto – yes, the one from The Claire Saga – who was just hitting the sheets as I was rolling out of them and who wished me an old school birthday that evoked a time where all the wonderful stories were just fermenting.
Triggered by Lenny, the other members of the OFC had offered their good wishes earlier yesterday because they could not remember exactly when the full moon I was born under first rose. Birthday wishes are like hand grenades, you just have to be close to make them count.
And so, this wonderful birthday has gotten off to an amazing start.
Given 69’s inherent mystical and carnal properties, I intend to make the best of it.
You fine, five readers go about your day knowing that in pure Hobbit fashion I am offering you my gift of sincere wishes for your good health, unending love, happiness and prosperity.
As Tolkien mentioned, among his Hobbits: “Giving gifts: was a personal matter, not limited to kinship. It was a form of ‘thanksgiving’, and taken as a recognition of services, benefits, and friendship shown, especially in the past year.”
I appreciate you all and your continued support of all things Claire related.
So now, I’m off to cuddle my kitties and make my rounds.
Let us all endeavor to make today a great one.
