Today goes by many titles, but out of our well earned and collective respect for those that have (and continue to) serve(d) our country – thank you for your service – this is a day on which we remember and honor the the men and women who have sacrificed their youth, time, freedom, bodies, minds and lives to protect the rest of us.
It is also known as Armistice Day and Remembrance Day (in other countries), as it was first applied to the day that hostilities ended at the conclusion of WWI. The armistice with Germany took effect on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month of 1918. We, who have been so jaded by all of the wars we have seen during the century that has followed, cannot fully appreciate the impact of a First World War. By remembering the names and faces of the individuals who actually served and fought and died in those wars, some of whom are now living on the streets of this country, maybe we will become more sensitized to the idea that it is not something civilized societies should engage in without damn good cause. Religion, money, culture or political philosophy come nowhere close to damn good cause. Given the weapons we have at our disposal, the next World War will be our collective last.
It is a federal holiday here in the US. One of 11 such days designated by Congress under Title V of the United States Code (5 U.S.C. § 6103. All federal institutions are closed today. Most other institutions – like banks – follow suit.
Funny how that number 11 keeps popping up. It is a master number in Numerology. It represents intuition.
November 11th on a Spiritual level is considered a major energy portal or gateway. It is a day for manifestation. It is a good day to release that which no longer serves you in a positive way, engage in change and achieving personal growth.
So, take a good look at where you are, decide if this is where you want to remain, and, if not, figure out where you want to go. Decide if anything is holding you back from achieving those goals, and if so, release it. Make the space for the new you to arrive. Move on.
Focus conceptually on what it is you would like to manifest. Get it clear in your mind, but don’t get too bogged down in the details. Leave that final sorting to your higher mind and the universe. “Let God,” as some say. Our Creator is much better at manifesting and will provide a much improved version of anything you think you can possibly conceive, so why limit yourself.
And don’t approach it with a “want” mindset. Approach it with an appreciative mindset, as if you already have achieved it. It seems counterintuitive, but if you can accept for purposes of manifestation that – under quantum physics – everything is vibrational energy, you will only engage with the energy at the level you are emitting. You need to set your receiver to the station that shares the music you want to listen to. And if you are emitting the energy of “want” you will engage in more of the same. Always in need. So emit an appreciative energy. Focus on the feeling of what it is like when you are where you want to be. Visualize the basketball going through the hoop. Appreciate the win.
I appreciate everything that has passed through my life, because good or bad, it has brought me to Casa Claire and helped me write The Claire Saga.
So, today, I’m going to raise my creative work to that next level.
Now I have never been one who can sit down and meditate for any extended periods. No lotus position, no Gyan Mudra (Wisdom Seal) of my hands on my knees. I don’t clear my chakras. You play the hand your Creator has dealt you. But I can clear my mind and focus intensely for short, concentrated bursts before the outside world – and more often the internal field we are all connected to https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/320132.The_Field – calls for my attention. And those brief moments of mental acuity always provide epiphanies.
So today I will light my intention candles, remembering all sacrificing service members, and have a series of epiphanies of how I will achieve my manifestations.
And with those manifestations well focused, and greatly appreciated, and turned over to my Creator, I’ll now get out there and cuddle and feed my kitties,
And then do my rounds.
You fine, five readers remember the sacrifices of those family members or friends – or the poor souls homeless in our streets – that have served (and continue to serve) our country. Say a short prayer of thanks for their service and protection for them here on this energy plane or on the other side of the veil. Pray for them all. Pray no more young men and women are forced to join their ranks. There is something we can all manifest.
And since it’s a federal holiday, use a little of that free time to give the 11/11 portal a try. Get in the arena. What do you got to lose? If you don’t take the opportunity, you’ve already lost it.
But, no matter what else we get up to, let us make today a great one.
