Pliny The Younger – Super Blue Full Moon

I had just read an article that included the above painting. It was about Pliny the Younger’s observations of the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius. I just happened to gaze West on Beverly when pulling into my driveway and I spotted an comparable cloud formation above The Three Witches. So, I snapped this photo.

Luckily TTW are not volcanic (and I have had my fill of smoke this summer). It was just the Universe pulling a deja vu, and playing with my fertile imagination. After all, both Pliny and I are attorneys and writers.

I love my imagination. It shows me that the Universe is paying attention and has an interesting sense of humor.

Now yesterday, for whatever reason, the colors were more rich and saturated on Casa Claire (I cannot tell you exactly what they were – beyond earth tones, but they were deeper than I normally experience).

I first noticed it when watching Claire and Honey out back gossiping with the neighboring horses.

There was a different feeling in the air. A calmer energy. Even the wasps were content to munch on side offerings off to one side while I chopped some fruits and veggies. If you don’t make the tithe, they literally land on your chopping block to snatch their morsels.

Claire even let Honey take first watch during their afternoon siesta. Claire was out for the count.

Given that we were smack dab in the middle of a Super Blue Moon energy at Casa Claire, and I already had my blue intention candles working overtime,

I decided I would replenish my Moon Water and add a dab of manifestation into the mix. Always looking for new advice, TikTok provided just the right tutorial.

And I just happened to have all the ingredients, including Dragons Blood incense, and after carefully listing my intentions as instructed, placed the finished product out on the back wall,

where it remained overnight absorbing premo lunar energy, and sending my intentions out to the Universe.

But not to get ahead of myself, of course, this being NoCo, yesterday’s weather changed with the wind,

So Claire and Honey, feeling the rising electricity in the air, hit the barn before the clouds reached them,

And Claire told me I may want to go get inside before the rain hit. Honey suggested I go fly a kite, with key.

So I retreated indoors, snapping a photo of Boot Hill as I passed,

the solar lights just kicking in early due to the rapidly darkening sky.

But by early this morning the clouds had passed, the sky was clear and the Blue Full Moon was Super, blessing Casa Claire with a soft, beautiful candescence.

And there I left those lucky mules, happily munching away in their new barn on Casa Claire under the Super Blue Full Moon. Clearly a manifestation of one of my intentions for which I am grateful.

But the sun also rises, so I need to get a move on.

You fine, five readers set those intentions before the last of the three day lunar cycle. And be grateful. Monday is behind us, so enjoy your Tuesday.

I’m heading out for another cuppa and some lunar grounding and then I’m off to cuddle the kitties and make my rounds.

And no matter what we all get up to, let us make today a great one.
