Congratulations Raff & Jake

Received word from my legal partner and dear friend, Robert Meloni (yes, the mafia attorney in The Wise Ass), that his youngest daughter Raffaella Meloni, got engaged.

Of course, Robert is over the moon.

Raff is a up and coming, extremely talented and gifted, and quite stunning musical artist, who has performed all over the country.

Her now fiance, Jake Luppen, is one of the founding members of the successful Indie Rock Band, Hippo Campus.

I could go on and on about how these two musical geniuses met, but that story has already been told.

Now this is Robert’s youngest daughter, his older two previously establishing their own careers before marrying wonderful men. Robert was equally ecstatic in their joy. Fathers and daughters have a special bond.

Raff is the last go around on the engagement news front, so there is an added poignancy to the event.

Now I must not forget to mention Adrienne, Raff’s mother and close confidant, from whom Raff got most of her looks, and who is equally thrilled.

As a sign of their ecstacy, both Robert and Adrienne danced their way across a large venue,

And into the arms of the waiting young couple.

Luckily, Jake will be bringing some height into the family genes.
